ABOUT US
CycleSentry was started on the idea that electric bike travel during the daytime has few to no safety measures to help drivers be seen throughout their ride. According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, e-bike and scooter-related injuries and fatalities have increased. Between 2017 and 2022, the U.S. saw over 360,000 emergency room visits due to accidents involving e-bikes, e-scooters, and other micro mobility devices. In 2022 alone, e-bike injuries accounted for nearly 46% of all micro mobility injuries. During this period, there were approximately 53 reported e-bike-related fatalities in the U.S. from 2017 to 2021. The most common types of injuries are fractures, contusions, and head injuries. The solution to this problem, we found to be as simple as the third brake light on the back of every automobile. An easy-to-use, waterproof, and reflective safety sticker that sticks on the side of your e-bike to help you be seen wherever you ride.
